Owned by one of my Ford friends in Florida, this car is certainly recognised around the neighbourhood

Car: Ford Mustang Fastback

Year: 1965

Where: Six Gun Plaza, Ocala

When: 29/12/2018

Lou's family has had this car since new, and now belonging to Lou it attends so many local shows and you can usually find it parked next to a blue Maverick. 99% of the time the #Mustang will also win some kind of trophy, either that or Lou will win a raffle, at these shows. This would not surprise anyone who has seen this car, it is perfect and has the unmistakable v8 rumble so you know when it's coming!

The Mustang was first introduced to automotive enthusiasts and curious onlookers on April 17th 1964, which then lead to Ford Motor Company unloading 22,000 to buyers across the USA. The April '64 - August '64 is now known as the 1964.5 model as the first "true-model" year, the 1965 Ford Mustang was introduced August 1964.

CJ Pony Parts enlightens us on a simple way to distinguish the difference between a 64.5 and a 65 Mustang... "If you are ever unsure if you are looking at a 1964.5 or a 1965 Mustang, simply take a look at the roof design. If it is a Fastback, the vehicle in question is, in fact, a 1965 Ford Mustang!"
