"And let them horses run" - Asleep at the Wheel. The 1983 Chevrolet C10 Silverado.

Model: Chevrolet C10 Silverado

Year: 1983

Where: Ace Cafe, Orlando

When: 01/01/2019

The C10 was the lightest truck model Chevrolet offered in 1983 under their C/K line of pickup trucks. This truck was part of the C/K generation that was produced between 1973 and 1987. The "C" represents the 2WD trucks in the C/K line, and the "K" represents the 4WD.

There were only minor differences between the 1983 model and the previous model years, one of the distinct features is the indicators are located behind the grille instead of on the bumpers.

If you look closely on the side of the pickup, you can see a small badge specifying that the truck has a "Silverado" trim level. "Silverado" being the top-of-the-line trim level of the model. This trim level included luxurious interior trims and exterior accents alongside an improved instrument panel.

The other levels were the "base Custom model" and "Scottsdale", there were very little differences between these trim levels.
